    Every contribution is scheduled with 20 minutes for the presentation and 10 minutes for discussion. The conference language is German or English, with simultaneous translation.

    This is the 5th in a series of successful meetings on ionic liquids that started in June 2005 in Salzburg, Austria. Previous COIL conferences have been held in Yokohama, Japan (2007), Cairns, Australia (2009) and Washington DC, USA (2011). Each of these venues attracted around 500 participants, transforming this event into the most important congress on the topic of ionic liquids worldwide.
